Christ Ryniak
If you liked my previous post about the great Andrew Bell, you are in for a great treat this week. Very recently, I had just received my own original sketch from the incredible Chris Ryniak. I have been a big fan of Ryniak's art for quite a long time, and originally discovered him through his work with vinyl figures. I was instantly drawn to his highly realistic figures, all of which had huge glassy eyes that were simultaneously off-putting and cute. It was this strange feeling that liked so much with Ryniaks work, each piece is both repulsive and adorable making you want to hold the thing without touching it.
Ryniak has made quite a name for himself in the vinyl world, selling out each of his releases almost instantly. With such a high demand, his artwork is highly valued but Ryniak has gone on to release less detailed and less limited figures from time to time. Currently, he has a line of blindbox figures that he collaborated on with Amanda Louise Spayd that he sells from his online store.
Ryniak is supported on Patreon, allowing him to do frequent sketches for people to check out for free. These are definitely worth checking out, as all of his creatures are done with beautiful detail and have incredibly unique personalities.
