MR.EWOKONE - Brainlington

Another vinyl toy post, this time from urban artist MR.EWOKONE.  Brainglington is an adorably weird creature who began as a graffiti design.  The original 'OG' version is shown above, but there were other variants including my favourite the SKILLERWHALE.

The first time I saw the Brainlington figure, I knew I wanted one immediately.  Nothing was going to stop me... except for the price.  The world of designer toys means that artists are taking the medium seriously, so limited sets and variants are produced at gallery prices.  I don't resent this and I really do feel that it respects the artists by not cheapening their work.  Unfortunately, this also means that I can't afford the majority of the figures that I really want.  Brainglington is available now on Mighty Jaxx for $80, which would be worth it if I had the salary to support my obsessions.
