AM.FM.GM - Tetris new melody

I was back in high school when I started searching for video game music.  It was an era just shy of the chiptune revival of the late 2000s and I was deep into the mash-up fever from the early 2000s.  It was around this time that I found Tetris New Melody from OCremix (which I will surely blog about later).  AM.FM.GM is a bedroom mixer that pieced together a great composition of the classic tetris theme (originally a Russian folk song called "Korobeiniki".  The remix takes the core melody from the original theme, but adds layer after layer of interesting bass lines and harmonies that creates a complex experience that begs to be heard with a good pair of headphones.  This song was definitely one of the gems from the site, which had the sea of sub-par submissions you'd expect from a user content generator.  Unfortunately, the song has since been taken down and the remixer AM.FM.GM has disappeared.
