Freakonomics Podcast
I "read" the original Freakonomics book as an audio book and really took to it. I thought it was well written and was great thought provoking journalism. Later, I was recommended to the podcast by a friend but didn't get around to it for a long time. When I did, I immediately fell in love. The Freakonomics podcast is a great way to get conversations started and really does make you smarter. The show is inherently interesting as it makes you question your assumptions or presents topics or facts you would never have known about. Why is the Japanese housing market backwards? Is higher education really worth it? I have since caught up on most of the backlogged podcasts and can see myself listening to a lot of them again
