U.N. Squadron
My mother used to go to her friends house and play Mah Johngg late into the night. Many times I would get dragged along and would have to sit alone in some "aunt's" basement and find something to do. One of her friends had a son that was never home, and I discovered U.N. Squadron on his SNES. Having never played Raiden or Strikers at the time, U.N. Squardon was my intro to the fighter jet game. I played this game for half hour intervals because it was really hard, but I kept going back to it and slowly memorized where every enemy came on screen for the first few maps. Recently I've come across the game again thinking I'd do much better than my young self only to realize that indeed, the game is genuinely hard.
